Micheal was patient with us as we moved through the COVID slowed legal process of getting probate filed. We recently bought our dream house outside of Lincoln. Since we lived in a nice neighborhood we didn’t do a contingent offer. I had plans to refinish the bathroom before I sold the old house. We assumed we would sell fast and easily.
The week after we moved out our roof started leaking in two different places, and then my 3 year old son ended up in the hospital. As a result of that, I suddenly didn’t have the time or the money to fix up or even get the house in a sellable condition.
We were going to be stuck with two mortgages and two sets of utilities in our ship was going to sink. I felt stuck.

We had to sell the family homestead after my mother died, the house was in need of serious repairs and we were not getting any decent offers. Michael was the only person who actually called me back when I started to call the mail offers of buying your property, one other company came by without calling but by then I was working with Michael and Ryan. They were very polite and up front of what they would have to put into the house and cash price would not even cover the mortgage and lien, the house was headed for foreclosure they worked with me and the mortgage company and ended up buying the house for the mortgage and lien. Granted this did not allow us any profit but instead of being evicted right away they allowed enough time for us to move into a new location, this was not a bed of roses but it was the best result all around. During the whole process they were very supportive and never a cross word or sound of impatience. This was a very traumatic time for me and I really appreciate their caring attitude, when I surrendered the house keys to Michael I asked if I could see the house when it was finished, he agreed it would be OK. I really want to see the house fixed to its former glory when my parents first purchased it.
